Pintamos la música para entender el concepto de "tema"

Algunas veces me resulta difícil explicarle a mis alumnos las diferencias entre el tema A y el B de una obra. Este año he intentado realizar una aproximación menos intelectual. Como musicoterapeuta sé que, a menudo, la gente puede entender los fundamentos de la música de una manera mucho más sencilla a través de sus corazones y no de sus mentes.
Sometimes I find difficult to explain the differences between theme A and B in a song. This year, I tried it through a less intelectual approach. As a musictherapist I know that, often, people can understand the basics of music easier by using their hearts instead of their mind. 





Ese es el motivo por el que les propuse un "juego". Hice varios grupos y tenían que pintar o dibujar lo que sentían en las partes de la canción que iban a escuchar. Repartí fragmentos de la canción en dos grupos, el A y el B y, al final, cuando terminaron, estaba bastante claro que había dos cosas distintas: ideas, atmósferas o como queráis llamarlo, en la canción. Mostraron sus dibujos y tenían muchas cosas en común. El grupo A usaba más un color y ciertas formas y lo mismo ocurrió entre los miembros del grupo B. Al final del día, todos comprendían perfectamente qué era el tema en una canción. Si queréis ver el proceso, aquí tenéis un vídeo:
That's why I thought of proposing them a "game". I made several groups and they had to paint or draw what they felt about the parts of the song they were going to listen. I divided the fragments of the song into two groups (A and B) and, in the end, when they finished, it was pretty clear that there were two different ideas, atmospheres or whatever name you wanted to give it in the song. They showed their paintings and they had many things in common. The A group used more one color and certain shapes; the same happened with B group. At the end of the day, everyone understood what was a theme in a song. If you want to see the process, here you have it:
